Historical workflow: verify before relying on it
General industry process. Not confirmed for AllChinaBuy while it is in maintenance โ checked 18 September 2026.
In the common shopping-agent model, the item you order is not shipped to you directly. It travels through the agent's warehouse, and a quality check happens in between. Understanding the general shape of that process helps you read a QC set in context.
The general steps
- Order placed with the agent. You pick an item and the agent buys it from the seller on your behalf.
- Seller ships to the warehouse. The item arrives at the agent's facility rather than at your address.
- Quality check. Warehouse staff photograph the item. This is the QC set you review.
- Your decision. You approve, request a return or exchange, or ask questions based on the photos.
- Consolidation and shipping. Approved items are packed — sometimes combined with others — and forwarded to you.
Numbers we are deliberately not stating
Free storage windows, QC turnaround times, service-fee percentages and shipping-line prices differ by agent and change over time. We have not verified AllChinaBuy's current figures, so we do not print any here. Where you see a specific number quoted elsewhere, check its date and confirm it against the official source before you count on it.
Why "verify before relying on it" matters now
A maintenance notice is exactly the situation where old terms may be mid-change. Read historical process notes as background, not as a promise about how the platform behaves today.
